Miramar, Florida – Upstormed Records, an independent music label, is excited to announce the upcoming release of “Live As I Know It” - the new EP from talented Miramar emcee, Jonathan Burkett.
Scheduled to release June 2016, “Life As I Know It” is hip-hop/rap artist Jonathan Burkett's (aka John Blake) anticipated breakthrough EP. The independent rapper has been building his presence online since 2009, developing a loyal social media following through his personal approach to music that now numbers in the thousands.
The “Life As I Know It” EP includes popular singles “Changes” and “Your Light”, both featuring the beautiful vocals of singer/songwriter Elisa Polanco. Both singles have received tens of thousands of plays since their respective release dates and considerable praise from the hip hop community.
Jonathan Burkett is dedicated to delivering great music that people can relate to. He channels his own struggles, which include a potentially life-threatening surgery in 2005, into positive hip-hop that breaks mainstream conventions.
